Versaly to Release Star Trek BREW-Based Application Featuring Wallpapers and Ringtones from Paramount Pictures’ World Famous Television Series
Seattle, WA — October 20, 2003 — Versaly Entertainment, a wireless new media company focused on creating, publishing and distributing broad-based entertainment to mobile phones, today announced the launch of their Star Trek wallpaper and ringtone application developed for QUALCOMM’s Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless™ (BREW™) platform.
The Star Trek BREW-based application allows users to download wallpapers
and ringtones of over 300 images and audio clips from all TV series and
seasons, including: Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next
Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek:
Enterprise and Star Trek: The Animated Adventures. The application is
organized by TV series cast and includes high-quality images of crewmembers,
ships, aliens, planets, logos and more. Voices and sound effects include
the communicator chirp, warp drive, tricorder, red alert and many more.
The application is powered by Versaly’s ForFones mobile content
platform.
