GignoSystem and Versaly partner to distribute Star Trek® content in Japan

Seattle, WA and Tokyo, Japan — January 16, 2003 — Versaly Games, Inc., a wireless new media company focused on creating, publishing and distributing broad-based entertainment to mobile phones, today announces it has signed a sublicensing agreement with GignoSystem Japan to distribute Star Trek® backgrounds, screensavers, ringtones and other mobile content through the major Japanese wireless carriers, such as DoCoMo, KDDI and Vodafone (J-Phone). GignoSystem is a top content publisher and distributor in Japan and around the world.

GignoSystem will create and distribute Star Trek images (backgrounds, screensavers and multimedia messaging), audio (ringtones and alarms), short mobile movies and other fun content from some of the major Star Trek theatrical motion pictures and over 522 Star Trek TV episodes to potentially millions of mobile phone users on i-mode (FOMA), EZweb, J-SKY and L-mode in Japan. Japan is highly regarded as having the leading mobile phone technology and adoption for mobile entertainment in the world. With a potential target market of over 70 million people, both Versaly and GignoSystem see this as a great opportunity to bring a global-brand to the most advanced mobile phone market.
