Versaly teams with Lee Oskar to create and distribute pleasing ringtones
Seattle, WA — January 15, 2002 — Versaly Games, Inc., a mobile entertainment company that publishes and distributes interactive games, digital pictures, audio and video clips, and other fun-to-use content to subscribers using next-generation mobile phones, today announces it has signed Lee Oskar, a founding member and lead harmonica player from the pioneer funk/jazz group WAR, to create and produce pleasing and fun mobile phone ringtones and other mobile music. Mr. Oskar’s signature harmonica playing in hit songs such as Cisco Kid, Low Rider, Slipping Into Darkness and Why Can’t We Be Friends helped to define the band’s sound from the beginning, in 1969, adding dashes of color to their R&B/Jazz/Rock and Latin influences.
